Local young people alongside established artists from Wales and beyond feature in the next exhibition at Sploj! Please join us for the launch of an art auction to raise money for The Hands Up Project on Thurs 6th November, 6:00-9:30pm. Bidding will also open online on 6th November, finishing with a live event on 11th December - watch this space for more information and for sneak previews of some of the exciting pieces on offer!
Alongside this we will also be showing poems and illustrations from the book Moon Tell Me Truth, written by children aged 9 to 15 from Palestine and published by The Hands up Project, which connects children around the world with young people in Palestine through online creative projects.
We are also excited to be showing the installation piece ‘A Thousand Paper Birds: Honouring Palestinian Lives’, which will be winging its way over from The Giraffe Shed.
The exhibition will be open every Wednesday 11am - 9pm and via appointment until 11th December.

Bydd pobl ifanc leol ochr yn ochr ag artistiaid sefydledig o Gymru a thu hwnt yn rhan o’r arddangosfa nesaf yn Sploj! Ymunwch â ni ar gyfer lansiad arwerthiant celf i godi arian ar gyfer The Hands Up Project ar nos Iau 6ed Tachwedd, 6:00–9:30yh. Bydd y broses o fwrw amgylch ar-lein hefyd yn agor ar 6ed Tachwedd, gan ddod i ben gyda digwyddiad byw ar 11eg Rhagfyr – cadwch olwg yma am fwy o wybodaeth a rhagolwg o rai o’r darnau cyffrous fydd ar gael!
Yn ogystal â hyn, byddwn hefyd yn dangos cerddi a darluniau o’r llyfr Moon Tell Me Truth, wedi’u hysgrifennu gan blant 9 i 15 oed o Balestina a gyhoeddwyd gan The Hands Up Project, sy’n cysylltu plant ledled y byd â phobl ifanc ym Mhalestina drwy brosiectau creadigol ar-lein.
Rydyn ni hefyd yn falch o arddangos y gwaith gosod ‘A Thousand Paper Birds: Honouring Palestinian Lives’, sydd ar ei ffordd atom o The Giraffe Shed.
Bydd yr arddangosfa ar agor bob dydd Mercher 11yb – 9yh ac yn ôl trefniant hyd at 11eg Rhagfyr.
